This recipe was inspired by a popular one with green beans, kielbasa and potatoes cooking in a slow cooker. Since I have been eating low carb meals, I replace potatoes with cauliflower. Best of all, this dinner can be made in last minute instead of waiting for the slow cooker to do the work.
In this recipe, I specifically call out to add ingredients in certain orders which is based on their cook time. The longer the cook time of an ingredient, the further down you put it close to the bottom of the pot in order to get the direct heat.
For kids and teenagers, they most likely will still feel hungry. I know this very well because I have a growing boy at home. Serve this dish along with some homemade garlic bread or some crusty bread. It will fill them up easily.
